With unemployment levels high the ol’ student stand-by, the summertime job, is looking pretty scarce. So what are you planning to do with your summer vacation…besides sit around and watch iCarly reruns? CollegeBoard has some great tips to help you get the most out of your “rewind time” including following a passion, doing an internship or getting in some great summer reading.
Talk to your youth pastor about going on a summer mission project. If your church doesn’t have a mission project in the works, see what projects may be available with and organization such as Student Venture.
Whatever you do, make the most of this coming summer. You’re almost out of high school…so make this one count!
